Abstract :
To compete, successful companies must often integrate technical expertise or disciplines from outside their traditional areas of operation. Virtual organizations are formed, combining individuals and companies with widely divergent viewpoints and methods of operation. By their very nature, these teams face challenges in operating effectively and staying focused on overall goals. The paper presents the process used by a virtual team comprised of employees from Genta and Procter and Gamble (P&G) to establish and develop a successful long distance business partnership
