Abstract :
An equivalent-circuit model is presented that accounts for AC winding and core effects in power transformers with any number of windings. It is both convenient and efficient, having relatively few elements with values easily calculated from measurements or field-analysis results. Although frequency-dependent, the model is shown to produce accurate simulation results for a PWM power converter
