Abstract :
Provision of multimedia services over packet switched networks has extensively increased the use of computers and mobile devices for exchange of information. This has proved to be a cornerstone for the evolution of NGN and IMS standards. Management and provision of a better Quality of Service (QoS) for these implementations have become a major concern of any service provider. In this paper, we present the design and implementation aspects of our tool StreamTrack, which is a novel and unique solution for monitoring QoS parameters of multimedia services over an all IP network.
