Two Dimensional Periodic Complementary Array Sets

Two dimensional periodic complementary array sets, in this paper, are discussed, and a family of such array sets is presented. By sampling two dimensional perfect arrays, two dimensional periodic complementary array sets are produced, and in the resulting such array sets, the numbers and sizes of sub-arrays can be changed on demand within the range of possibilities. Therefore, the proposed method in this paper can provide lots of candidates that arrive at the requirement of engineering application, such as two dimensional synchronization, phased-array antennas, communication, radar, sonar, and so on.
