    Summary form only given. Asia Pacific currently has the largest FTTH subscriber base in the world and the take up is unlikely to lose momentum. Through the Asia Pacific FTTH Council, I would like to share the more recent FTTH related statistics and also factors that has contributed to the success of the FTTH role out in Asia Pacific. Also I would like to cover on certain challenges that consistently faced for all FTTH role-outs and finally what kind of social economical impact FTTH has and will bring to the region.
