  • Abstract
    The traffic parameter detecting automatically, accurately and real time is the key for traffic supervise and route guide. The corner matching based approach is proposed. The detection region is divided into initiative detection and tracking region at first. In the initiative region, the existence of motion vehicle is tested, and the state parameters of the motion vehicles are initialized. In the tracing region, the corners characteristics are drawn out. When the rears of vehicle go out the detection region, the tracing is end, and the traffic parameters are computed. Experiments show that the algorithm is more robust.
