Abstract :
In order to select the optimal adaptive algorithm for electrical dispersion equalizer in optical coherent receivers at 100 Gbps, this paper focuses on the constant modulus algorithm (CMA) and the least mean square (LMS) algorithm and reaches the conclusion that CMA is more feasible according to the comparison from equalization performance, computation complexity and real-time requirement by simulation and analysis.
