Abstract
Boundary conditions during the hot forming process of high quality steel are not well controlled at present. So, metal workers need the thermal contact conductance for their numerical simulation. One way to obtain these data is to measure it. The paper deals with the signal processing that will be applied to the data stemming from experience. This signal processing is based upon the use of an inverse heat conduction method
