  • Abstract
Presents an improved linearized model for two-stage electrohydraulic servovalves and the design of a robust performance control system based on this derived model. The derived servovalve model is shown to have closer agreement with experimental results than the existing models. Robust performance controllers, which take into account the modeling uncertainty and system nonlinearity, are designed based on the improved model and two commonly used less accurate models. With the higher modeling accuracy, the first controller is shown to achieve the better robust performance
