Abstract :
In this poster paper we present an analysis of the complexities of large group collaboration that provides a basis for designing, supporting and managing complex collaborative systems that can be applied in various real world settings. We introduce the concepts of “collaborative flow” and “working as one” as descriptive expressions of successful collaborations. The paper then develops a large-scale collaboration framework and considers the application of this framework in different domains and discusses its utility in modelling and supporting collaboration in complex social structures.
