Abstract :
The (s,S) inventory control model is important for inventory management. It is difficult to get the best inventory control policy of stochastic (s,S) inventory system by analytical method. A simulator Arens was employed for modeling inventory problems. Uniform design method is used to convert the problem of parameter establishment into the experimental design of multi-factor and multilevel and reduces the work load of experiment greatly of simulation. Test results of a (s,S) inventory system showed that the solution proposed is feasible and effective.
