Abstract :
This paper presents a new approach to multiple attribute decision making (MADM) with decision makerspsila subjective pairwise comparison matrix in the form of interval numbers. In the approach, multiple decision makers express their uncertain subjective judgment in interval numbers when modeling the problems in pairwise comparison matrix The error analysis theory is employed to aggregate the decision makerspsila interval judgment matrix; The weights of the alternatives in the form of intervals are then calculated; Rankings of the alternatives can be obtained based on the interval weight vector of the alternatives according to the superiority possibility between them. An example is used to illustrate the proposed approach. The proposed approach extends the current methods for uncertain group decision with interval judgment matrix. The new approach is easily understood and implemented into a computer-based information system.
