Abstract :
In the cellular wireless location, the presence of Non Light of Sight (NLOS) declined the location performance dramatically. To overcome the impact of NLOS on mobile positioning, a mobile positioning method based on biased Kalman filter and TDOA data reconstruction is presented in this paper. According to NLOS error distribution feature, NLOS smoothing of measurements and data reconstruction are accomplished with biased Kalman filter, and then the TDOA reconstruction data is adopted to location solution, which can reduce the impact of NLOS effectively. Simulation results show that the method can achieve a higher positioning accuracy under LOS and NLOS environments. Meanwhile, with the low computational complexity, the proposed algorithm can be well applied to mobile location of CDMA2000 telecommunication systems.
