Abstract :
Usability evaluation has been employed frequently for spotting strengths and weaknesses of an application´s from user-friendliness point of view. Questionnaires have extensively been used to evaluate user interfaces of different applications. This paper is a survey report conducted for evaluation of product usability. Product that was chosen to be evaluated from usability aspects was Microsoft Word included in Microsoft Office 2007 Package. This product was taken into account because of its large usability at academic and professional level. In this paper we present the results of our survey and also the analysis of those results. The findings and recommendations of this study can be generalized for other Microsoft office products. Some limitations of study have also been listed.
