  • Abstract
    We have developed a fully analytical model for the overall non-linear interference occurring among coherent WDM channels using polarization-multiplexed QPSK or QAM modulation, over uncompensated fiber links. We show that the model provides very accurate performance predictions over a very wide range of system configurations, encompassing different fiber types, modulation formats and frequency spacings.
