  • Abstract
Data warehouse systems have several dependability aspects, which crosscut the whole system modules. That might cause difficulties while designing, reusing or maintaining the systems; therefore it may affect its performance. Aspect Oriented Method is a software development paradigm which supports an horizontal separation of concerns by providing mechanisms for encapsulating cross-cutting features using the aspects. In our Aspect Oriented Modeling (AOM) method, dependability attributes are modeled as aspects in Model Driven Architecture (MDA) approach then are composed with the functional model to form complete Data warehouse system. Concretely, we refine the Platform Independent Model (PIM) of aspects to Platform Specific Model (PSM). Then we weave it with the functional PSM of each Data Warehouse system layer in order to obtain an integral PSM.
