Abstract :
Summary form only given. In this invited presentation we show results from a resonance hybridization model applied to the resonance response of Asymmetric Split Ring Resonators. This allows us to interpret how the spectral peaks and troughs are determined. Double Asymmetric Split Ring Resonators provide an extra challenge to interpretation but also allow us further degrees of freedom in design. We demonstrate the application of these structures to the sensing of organic materials.
