  • Abstract
    We present a key agreement scheme for Wireless Sensor and Actor Networks (WSAN) using Identity- based Cryptography (IBC). As Attribute-based Encryption (ABE) is employed in the key agreement protocol between sensor and actor, the sensor can establish shared keys with multiple actors at one time through one-to-many encryption of key exchange message, which reduces the sensor´s energy consumption in Multi-Actors Task of WSAN. Our scheme is constructed on the Gentry encryption algorithm fully secure in the standard model, provides perfect forward secrecy and master key forward secrecy and has better resilience against node forgery attack. The analysis and simulation results show that our scheme has better performance and can be more applicable in WSAN.
