Abstract :
The inspection for power telecommunication networks plays a key role to make sure the power system safety and reliability. However, with the development of power telecommunication networks, its scalar is becoming larger and larger. The traditional inspection methods no longer meet the requirements. In this paper, a new inspection method for power telecommunication networks will be proposed, which is based on Pocket PC by applying RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) technology. Next the architecture of this inspection system will be introduced. Furthermore, more details about the system, such as RF tag management, inspection task management etc., will be further discussed. This new system has been put into practice in current power system. It will bring some positive influences to the development of the Internet of Things.
