  • Abstract
It was established that breakdown not only cleans the surface, but also simultaneously creates films, reducing the electrical strength in vacuum conditions of a linac. The matter of this phenomenon is connected with atmospheric and vacuum contamination. Therefore, possibilities of the gradient increasing by preliminary processing are connected with a diminution of a surface sorption capacity
