Abstract :
Detail research is given to servo tracking controller design that uses the backstepping sliding mode control theory incorporating the adaptive fuzzy logic in order to achieve robust tracking performance in precision machine servo system subjects to parameter variations and external disturbances. First, a backstepping sliding mode approach is proposed to compensate the uncertainties and external disturbances. Then, a fuzzy control scheme is presented to estimate the upper bound of the lumped uncertainty in the backstepping sliding mode control system. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
