Abstract :
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system brings us many advantages, but the security and privacy problems are the impediment to the increasing using of it, particularly to the low-cost one. In order to solve this problem economically, we manage to design a new scheme for low-cost passive RFID tags based on the cryptographic techniques. Considering the ID should be regarded as a secret when facing with the user´s privacy, the proposed scheme employs the ID as the only share secret between the tag and the back-end database, defines a lightweight function by using of simple operators, uses these and mutual authentication mechanism to reach our goal. After designing of our scheme, the security and performance analysis is also given, it shows that it can not only minimize the storage resource, reduce the computational resource of the low-cost RFID tag, but also achieve the secure and private goals.
