Abstract
A voltage standard for the range from 0.01 to 50 Hz is presented. It consists of a sampling very-low-frequency (VLF) root mean square (RMS) voltmeter and a VLF voltage calibrator which provides a high-accuracy and high-stability sine waveform, with ranges of 10 mV, 100 mV, 1 V, and 10 V. The accuracy of the calibrator is better than +or-300 p.p.m. and that of the voltmeter is better than +or-0.1% above 10 mV. The VLF voltage standard can be used to calibrate other voltmeters and voltage sources.<>
