Abstract :
For pt.I, see ibid., pp.432-442. The thermal performance of ZnO surge arresters in polluted conditions was studied in the laboratory and in the field. The results from field tests in areas of marine and industrial pollution are presented. A comparison of laboratory and field test results is made on the basis of varistor temperature rise and accumulated charge of external leakage currents
