Abstract :
With the dynamic interpolation of the linear antenna array, the Doppler interference can be canceled for OFDM systems. This has been implemented in the terrestrial vehicle Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) receivers. In this paper, this space interpolation and diversity scheme has been proposed in Air-to-Ground (A/G) datalinks for aircrafts to cancel the interference caused by Doppler spread. Especially, for Non-Continuous Interferometry OFDM (NCI-OFDM) communication system, the specific interpolation scheme of Orthogonal Antenna Array (OAA) is established for high speed mobile of the aircraft. The compensator estimates the received signal at the point on the flying aircraft which is equivalently static to the ground base-station during the observation period. Computer simulation results show that the proposed scheme can drastically benefit the NCI-OFDM data links with mitigating the interference of Doppler spread caused by the high speed mobile of the aircrafts.
