Abstract :
The transformer performance analysis system (TPAS) project is described. The project´s background and objectives are reviewed. The description of TPAS covers the key performance parameters, partial discharge, oil quality, short circuit capability, loadability, and accessories. The TPAS monitoring functions include sensing, modeling, analysis, and diagnostics. A conceptual TPAs implementation is discussed
