Abstract :
The dynamic of overdense ion bunches created by ultraintense femtosecond laser pulses is studied in order to use them for the fusion of rare isotopes. As opposed to the traditional accelerators, the time (t~10 ÷ 20TL, where TL is the period of the laser irradiation and is of femtosecond scale) and distance (l~10 ÷ 20TL, where TL is the wavelength of the laser irradiation and is of micron scale) for the acceleration in this case are very short.
