  • Abstract
This study aims to determine the significance of E-learning systems from an implementer´s veiwpoint. A comprehensive analysis of existing litererary works and consultations with the engineers of E-learning systems was done to identify the 8 commonly used of E-learning systems. These systems are :Interactive learning software, Interactive whiteboard, E-Podium, Video Conferencing tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Interactive Kiosk, Digital Signage, Lecture Capturing Tool. A survey was conducted to evaluate the importance of each of these systems with the help of people working in the e-learning industry. Personal questioning were also organised with some of the people from E-learning industry. All the systems were tested to determine their importance as far as E-learning programs are concerned. The levels of significance of these systems were resolved based of quantitative techniques.
