Abstract :
The proposed algorithm uses the wavelet transform (WT) to detect the QRS complex of an electrocardiogram (ECG). Compared to other algorithms, which only use WT zero-crossing points, this algorithm detects the ECG characteristic points by a combination of the maxima and the zero-crossings of the WT. This algorithm can easily distinguish the QRS complex by comparison with prior work. The detection method and results are presented
