  • Abstract
    On behalf of IEEE Malaysia Section I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all participants of the first IEEE International Conference on Signal and Image Processing Applications (ICSIPA2009). The conference is organized by IEEE Signal Processing Society Malaysia, and IEEE Malaysia Section is proud to be associated with this event, which, I was told, has attracted more than 100 participants worldwide. We wish to record our sincere thanks to Universiti Multimedia, Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Universiti Teknologi MARA and Univeristi Teknologi Malaysia for jointly supporting this significant event.
