  • Abstract
    The roundness error on rolling bearing grinding surfaces is intimately related to the composition of surface harmonic and it has vital impact on running accuracies. In addition, rumble spectrum feature extraordinarily depend on the harmonic distribution on rolling surfaces. For the sake of controlling harmonic of roundness error, principle of harmonic diagnoses and control, sources of harmonic error and the establishment of harmonic control line are discussed in this paper. Changing those changeable parameters such as geometrical layout and workpiece rotational speed, hardware design for controlling surface harmonic is expressed and the circuit design for controlling harmonics on rolling bearing surfaces is given as well. An experiment based on those theories is carried out and the experiment data is shown in the paper and, based on the experiment data, harmonics of which outstripped the control line are distinguished and decayed successfully.
