Abstract :
Distributed uplink scheduling in a multicell OFDMA system is considered. A collaborative model is proposed, where base stations cooperate by exchanging interference information based on pricing, and users in each cell cooperate by exchanging channel state information. Then, each user implements independently the same scheduling algorithm. Simulations show that results close to the case of full channel knowledge can be achieved at the expense of a limited number of feedback bits per subcarrier. Furthermore, the proposed pricing scheme leads to enhanced results in the presence of interference.
