Abstract :
This paper presents a novel digital control technique for switched reluctance generators (SRGs). Voltage feedback control is used in the proposed approach. This control strategy can be implemented easily with both PWM and hysteresis switching schemes. The SRG is modeled in order to find the proper control parameters. The digital control technology is then applied to the simulation model as well as an experimental system. The results are presented to confirm the system performance.
