Abstract :
Target reporting plays an important role in firing accuracy test and exercitation of small arms. Since a long time, we have been relying on the traditional manually target reporting, whose disadvantage is big error and low efficiency. We construct a new automatic target reporting system by means of machine vision. It analyses the captured target image with image processing technology, outputs bullet hole coordinate timely. It will provide scientific and accurate data and results for shooting training and firing accuracy test of small arms. The program can be divided into the following parts: the original target image capture, target parameter determination, bullet hole recognition, bullet hole coordinate display and shooting results print. We finish our code program in considering the expansibility of the system and network compatibility. After coding, we do reliability, accuracy and maintenance test in detail. It has been proved that our system is logical in theory, very efficient in processing efficiency and convenient in maintenance. Undoubtedly, It will greatly advance the development of automatic target reporting technology. We could expect its broad and wide application prospect.
