Abstract
Electronic bus station boards improve service of urban public traffic by offering information of vehicle arrival. However, the users can just query stations and buses they have already known with existed electronic boards. By introducing location-based service a new electronic station board system is designed by which the users are able to query information in a strange environment. The concepts of SOA and BPEL are also adopted for the flexible integration of existed systems such as the GPS Data System and the Traffic Network Information System, which improves the efficiency of development and operation of the new system.
