  • Abstract
By QoE (Quality of Experience) assessment, this paper investigates the influences of network delay on will transmission about movement direction by using haptic sensation in two types of collaborative work. In the first work, two users move a pencil cooperatively to a target in a real space. In the second work, the users conduct similar work in a 3-D virtual space to that in the real space. Assessment results show that the deterioration in QoE is allowable, when the network delay is smaller than about 300 ms in the real space, and when the network delay is smaller than around 40 ms in the virtual space.
