Abstract :
Cavern provides a great and safe underground space for the storing of the materials which are insoluble by salt. The cavity of the cavern is used to store petroleum and natural gas so that ensure the supply security of energy. In the world wide, this method has been used more and more extensive. At present, we usually need to build up a precise three-dimensional model in controlling the cavity shape and the mechanical analysis of salt caves. This paper analyzes the existing three-dimensional modeling technology, ameliorates the space nearest point method and puts forward the improved space nearest point method of cavern 3D modeling.
