Abstract :
The fuseless capacitor bank construction described takes advantage of the changes which have occurred in capacitor unit technology to provide a capacitor bank construction which has a number of advantages. Background on fuseless capacitor banks is provided. Various facets of the design and operation of fuseless capacitor banks are discussed, and several installations are described. The development is described in enough detail to encourage discussion of the concepts involved in the industry
