Abstract :
This paper deals with the delay-dependent stability criterion and the state observers design problem as well as observer-based stabilization problem for linear neutral delay systems. Firstly, we develop a delay-dependent stability criterion, which is presented in terms of a feasibility positive definite solution to a linear matrix inequality. Secondly, we present an LMI-based observer design for the estimation error dynamics. The last problem aims at the observer-based stabilization of the neutral delay systems which is solved by the solvability of two LMIs. Finally, two numerical examples are used to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed approaches.
