Abstract
IEEE 802.16, popularly known as WiMAX, is one of the most innovative methods developed in recent times to address growing demand for high-speed wireless broadband networks. In this paper, performance of a WiMAX link is evaluated in multipath fading channels. We evaluate the performance of WiMAX channels over Rayleigh and Ricean fading channel models based on various metrics which include Received Signal Strength, Throughput, Signal to noise Ratio.
