Abstract :
The SUNPAC is a new device which offers a wide variety of services in order to facilitate the control, the surveillance and the remote monitoring of photovoltaic systems in remote areas. This device can be easily integrated into any PV system for isolated housing, telecommunications and water pumping. The range of power justifying the use of the SUNPAC starts from a few hundreds of Wp. By using the various capabilities that SUNPAC offers, it becomes possible to manage a range of new services, such as: user assistance for generator management; replacement of conventional measurement instruments (V, A, Ah, etc.); subsequent verification of initial system scaling; simplified scheduled maintenance; malfunction alarm prior to installation failure; and prolonged battery life
