Abstract
• Model-based future systems design starting from legacy architectures was demonstrated • Validation: Legacy system architectures with added or extended functionality • Early integration test and concept validation using executable specifications at aircraft level • Executable specifications significantly reduced development time and risk of development • Automation of validation at aircraft application/ mission level • Model-based SoS design that includes all areas of aircraft systems development • Optimizing the control loop around MBE from concept development to operation • Challenge: executable design process
