Abstract :
Cascading failures are one of the main factors which caused widespreadly power-off in electricity power grid, this paper analyzed the GuiZhou power grid with a modified model of optimal flow method. This model reveals the relations among generation nodes, load nodes and transmission lines. Through the GuiZhou power grid transmission line analysis of the data and using this model for the ever-increasing load in the circumstances, this article figures out the critical point that probably will lead to the power transmission cascading failures, so that it provides a relevant information to GuiZhou power grid for its reliable operation.
