Abstract

Document management is an important component of product data management. In order to improve the level of document information processing and meet the function requirements of product, such as document query, document browsing, information sharing and version management, etc, based on the study of document management in data management systems, this paper adopts advanced B/S architecture and ASP.NET technology and takes Microsoft SQL Server2000 as background database to design and realize the document management module in a PDM system suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.
