Abstract :
An efficient CMOS operational amplifier for driving large capacitive loads is presented here. It uses an auxiliary circuit to handle with the large input signals while the main amplifier will take charge of the small ones. The simulation results show that with 313.5 uW quiescent power consumption, the amplifier can deliver an average FOML of 14000V/us ldr pF/mW to capacitive loads in excess of 10 nF.
