Abstract :
One of games used as educational media is in hajj learning since Indonesia is well known as a country with the biggest hajj pilgrims every year. This research developes a HajjGame that provides a series of phase of the Hajj. HajjGame is adapted from the role playing game (RPG). RPG is a game genre with the story flows using agents as individual characters representative players equipped by certain tools, action / skill and ability to manage resources also ability to complete a special mission. One of the units of agent achievement in the RPG is experience point (XP) that is usually given after defeating enemies, collecting resources, or completing a challenge. So, the statistical ability for agents will increase, such as the status of health or adding new skills. Goal of this research is to measure the player achievement score combine with the educational credit based on Hajj phase. Player will get a credit accumulation/points after completing a task of learning. In this case, the task of learning is Hajj manasik that divide into 6 stages: Ihrom, Mabit in Mina, ´Arafah, Muzdalifah, throw Jamarat, Thawaf in Masjidil Haram and Sai. Each stage of Hajj will have detail actions that must be passed by an agent and will have educational credit (EC) points. Result from this research shows that a combination of XP and educational-credit on increasing learning and scoring as player´s achievement. The challenge for the players will still available and the ability to understand the phase of the Hajj will be obtained.
