Abstract
A concept of dynamic hazardous cylinder named as PAZ is introduced. ADS-B enables the generation of more accurate trajectory prediction. Using a constant turn rate and constant vertical velocity propagation outperforms the classical constant velocity propagation. The presented algorithm is more time efficient between alert and CAZ violation and variability is reduced in alert triggering time. The algorithm is robust to message delays.
