Abstract :
Low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) is an ideal packaging technology in realizing miniaturization of microwave components. In this paper, A Miniaturized High Out-band Suppression Low-pass Filter (LPF) is designed, which is based on classical filter design theory and LTCC technology. The pass-band of the low-pass filter we attention is from 1900MHz to1990MHz, which is using in UMTS (Band I). The proposed LPF has a high performance with an insertion loss lower than 0.5 dB in pass band, a high out-band suppression more than 30 dB (at 3.3-3.8 GHz). And the VSWR of input and output port is less than 1.2. The whole volume of final three-dimension model is 2.0mm×1.1mm×0.5mm.
