Abstract
A magnetic stimulation apparatus which is based on biofeedback technique and used for treating insomnia and improving the quality of sleep was developed. The apparatus can feed signals, which simulate the rhythm of brain electricity of normal people during sleep, into the brain of patients. Clinical experiments show that the total efficiency to shorten the time to go to sleep is ninety percent, and the total efficiency to prolong first sleep duration is ninety-two percent. The results demonstrate that magnetic stimulation with a specific frequency can be used to improve sleep quality
