            Abstract : 
A novel triple-mode resonator is presented. This resonator is composed of a cavity with a cruciform slot on the top metal layer, and the cruciform slot increases the number of resonance frequency from one to three. To use this cavity, filter structure can be miniaturized. A compact substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) filter sample is designed and fabricated, which has a good perform at the simulated S-parameters.
